The controller determines, alone or jointly with others, the purposes and means of processing personal data.
2. Hosting
This website is provided through an external hosting provider. When you access the website, technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address, may be processed. Processing is carried out to provide the website securely, stably and reliably on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The hosting provider is Vercel Inc. When the website is accessed, Vercel processes the connection and system data technically required to deliver the site. Further information is available in Vercel's Privacy Notice.
3. SSL/TLS encryption
AgentenCode is delivered via HTTPS. Encryption protects data in transit between your browser and the website against unauthorized reading and manipulation.
4. Audience measurement with Umami Analytics
AgentenCode uses Umami Analytics as a privacy-conscious web analytics service to understand which pages are viewed, which referrals bring visitors to AgentenCode, and which broad device and browser classes are used. The provider of the cloud service we use is Umami Software, Inc.
According to the provider, Umami operates without tracking cookies and does not store directly identifying personal information. For anonymous session attribution, Umami creates a technical hash using, among other things, the IP address, user agent and website ID. The service may evaluate page views, page titles, referrers, browsers, operating systems, device types, language or screen information, and approximate geographic origin. AgentenCode does not intend to identify individual visitors.
We have configured the tracker to minimize data collection: it is activated only on agentencode.de and www.agentencode.de; URL query parameters and URL fragments are not sent to Umami; and the browser's Do Not Track setting is respected. We do not use a feature to pass our own user identifiers to Umami.
Where personal data is processed for Audience measurement, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is privacy-conscious, aggregated analysis of AgentenCode usage so that we can improve content, navigation and technical presentation. According to Umami, visitors are not tracked across websites.
We use Umami Cloud. Umami states that it operates cloud infrastructure in the United States and the European Union and provides a Data Processing Agreement for processing on behalf of customers. Further information is available in Umami's privacy documentation and in Umami's Data Processing Agreement.
5. Optional voice input in Ask AgentenCode
In Ask AgentenCode, optional web speech recognition can be used where supported by the browser. AgentenCode itself does not store audio recordings and does not send audio data to an AgentenCode-operated speech-recognition service. Depending on the browser and operating system, speech recognition may be provided by the browser or operating-system provider; that provider's privacy terms apply. The recognized transcript is inserted into the question field and then evaluated against the published AgentenCode data.
6. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide in order to handle your request. Where the request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in efficiently handling inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where expressly obtained, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
The data is deleted when the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
7. External links
AgentenCode links to official documentation, product pages and other external websites. When you follow an external link, you leave AgentenCode. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on the destination website.
8. Withdrawal of consent
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected.
9. Data subject rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have in particular the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict processing, obtain data portability, and object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. To exercise your rights, contact info@agentencode.de.
10. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. In North Rhine-Westphalia, the competent authority is in particular the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW). Information is available at ldi.nrw.de.
11. Updates to this Privacy Policy
We update this Privacy Policy when the website, the services used or legal requirements change. If, for example, forms, newsletters, additional analytics tools or embedded media are added in the future, the Privacy Policy will be expanded accordingly.
